Game 8: Twins lineup vs. Cardinals, Wainwright
FORT MYERS, Fla. — The Twins get the chance to face Cardinals ace Adam Wainwright today in his first start since Sept. 24, 2010.
Wainwright is making his much anticipated debut after missing all of last season with Tommy John surgery.
He’ll get a chance to face some Twins regulars early in the lineup, as Ben Revere, Jamey Carroll and Joe Mauer are all in there. It’s Mauer’s third straight day in the lineup after playing first in a “B” game on Wednesday and catching yesterday.
